Now The World Knows All About Encinitas…

Living on any American coast is expensive. The personal finance site, WalletHub, ranked waterfront cities with 58 metrics including: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, plus quality of life to determine the most livable beach-side communities in the country.

WalletHub’s  analysis focused on cities with populations between 10,000 and 150,000 residents and at least one beach listed on TripAdvisor. The communities were then split into ocean towns and lake towns.

San Diego County has some of the best beach towns in the U.S., (but you already knew this). Several of which made this year’s WalletHub list of top beach towns to live in.

Coming in at number 14 on the list of 161 beach towns is your favorite city – Encinitas. Overall, Encinitas ranked high when it comes to its economy and quality of life. The city also ranked 36th on the list for affordability (hard to believe). Additionally, Carlsbad, San Clemente and Coronado also that made the list.
